Mr. Wayne Brackenbury

My name is Wayne Brackenbury.  I have taught in the Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood Public School system for 20+ years.  I have coached in the MLS system for as many years. I currently teach Government, Economics and P.E. classes.  My passion is coaching.  I have coached at the varsity level of girls basketball for all but 1 of my years here at MLS.  My teams have attained state tournament status 4 times with the last coming in 2005 when we finished 2nd in Jamestown, North Dakota.  My 2000 and 2003 teams finished 3rd at the state tournament.  The highlight of my coaching career was winning the State Championship in 2001 and finish with a record of 27-1.  We defeated the team which gave us our only loss of the season and this took place in Minot, North Dakota.

I am married to Clarissa and we have 3 children.  Shania is 23 years of age and a nurse in Bismarck. Connor is 22 years of age and attending the welding program at Bismarck State College. Calli is 19 and a sophomore at BSC.  Her highlight to date is starting at 2nd base as a 7th grader playing along side her sister for the KBMLS fastpitch team at the State Fastpitch Softball Tournament in 2013.
