My name is Penny Lodoen Ballantyne and this is my fourth year as a social studies and art teacher at Mohall. I graduated from Minot State with a degree in history and also have a public history degree from NDSU. Before teaching in Mohall I previously taught 16 years in Westhope and three years in Belcourt. I was born and raised in Westhope and continue to live there. My husband’s name is Russel, he farms in the Westhope area. I have two daughters, Sage and Shiloh. Sage is a teachers aide and the elementary art teacher in the Westhope School. She is working on getting her master’s in special education. Shiloh is a junior and attends Westhope Public School.
