Mrs. Kalli Smith

This will be my third year teaching special education at MLS for grades 4-7, as well as coordinating 504s. Previously, I taught special education in Westhope.  I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Special Education through Minot State University. I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Emotional Disabilities through the University of North Dakota online.

In July 2015, I married Tony Smith and we live in Sherwood, where we both grew up. On July 16, 2016, Tayte Hope joined our family. In my free time, I love to ride horse, attend rodeos, and spend time with my family.

My classroom is built on the foundation of kindness, teamwork, and effort. We learn to help each other out, respect each other, try our best, and work hard, all while learning.

I can’t wait to learn more about my students and their families as the year progresses. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time with questions or concerns.

Let’s have a great year!
